Heat Direct provides competitive shipping on all orders for delivery in New Zealand. We can ship internationally - please contact us for more information.

Most in stock items ship within 2-3 business days. Rural Courier Delivery addresses can expect up to an additional 48 Hours. Please provide a Physical Delivery Address (not PO Box Number) for speedier courier delivery.

Expect delays from time to time and at peak Holiday times: please be patient and realistic with your delivery expectations! We do our very best to ship as soon as your order is received.

We provide you with an email notification upon dispatch allowing you to track your order and to determine an estimated time of arrival.

Direct Delivery (larger items)

Rural: We deliver to nearest transport depot only

Urban: We offer an unload/drop-off service only. Delivery only includes offload of the goods from the truck and does not include moving and placement of the goods elsewhere on the property other than the area where the truck has direct access to.

It is the Customer’s responsibility to advise us if there are any possible truck access difficulties.

The ‘Carrier’ is the Freight Company

The ‘Customer’ is the Receiver / Consignee

The ‘Driver’ is the Person delivering the goods 

It is the Customers responsibility to provide access. If the carrier, at their discretion, is unable to deliver due to inaccessibility, it is the Customers responsibility to arrange an alternative means of delivery at the Customer’s expense (if extra costs are incurred) or pick up from the transport depot. 

A standard truck height is approximately 3.2 meters. We will not be able to deliver if access is less than this, and alternative delivery arrangements will need to be made at the Customer’s expense. 

The Drivers are subject to Health and Safety requirements and are not expected to carry goods beyond the Health and Safety limits.

Please Check

Upon receipt of goods please inspect the outside of the packaging immediately - if in the very unlikely event you see damage on the packaging notify the driver/freight company immediately and DO NOT sign for the goods.

Open your package and check that the goods have been received in good condition. Courier/Truck drivers will wait until your thorough inspaction has been completed otherwise you should conditionally sign pending your full inspection.

If you do sign for a freight damaged delivery, you are accepting full responsibility for the goods in that condition.

In the event of a damaged delivery notify us and we will assist you with what you need to resolve the issue whether it be by replacement part or claim for a replacement item.

Please notify us of the damage IMMEDIATELY.

Do not leave it for days before you contact us as a delay could mean our claim may be declined. We must lodge a claim with the freight company within 5 working days, so we will need to hear from you within at least 3 working days. 

Pick Ups 

If you have selected the Pick Up option - goods can be collected from our Christchurch premises. Please call us - 03-366 8808 - to confirm a convenient time so we can have your order prepared for collection. Pick up is available 7 Days by arrangement.
